Perry was the fan favourite in top music categories, including Pop Artist, Female Artist and Music Video (Part of Me), while her KatyCats won Favorite Music Fan Following.

The 34th annual People's Choice Awards kicked off awards season on Wednesday night as stars descended upon the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in Los Angeles, with Kaley Cuoco as the evening Mistress of Ceremonies - the actress changing a total of five times throughout the ceremony.
The Wanted were named Favorite Breakout Artist, beating Carly Rae Jepsen, Fun., Gotye and One Direction to the title at the fan-voted awards.
One Direction, with their hit What Makes You Beautiful, beat out Carly Rae Jepsen (Call Me Maybe), Maroon 5 (One More Night), Taylor Swift (We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together) and Fun. ft. Janelle Monáe (We Are Young) for Favorite Song.
